Very useful thanks. I have a large house of 3500 square feet and 5 bedrooms which is made up of two semi-detached houses brought together 5 years ago.
However I still have the two separate traditional boiler systems and I now want to combine them into one boiler and integrated pipework.
I have have 17 radiators so I’m just wondering what kind of power boiler would I need for this size of property? Plus would it still be a traditional one as I have 5 bathrooms with tanks in the loft? …..
If it was the traditional system any idea of roughly what the cost would be to install an integrated traditional boiler system please adding and linking up existing pipework?

I understand
it is very difficult but I just need an estimate as I’ve had one quote for £7k – for a 34 kW boiler and joined up pipework …..but I need some guidance on this.

Very useful information for me as I am needing my old fuse board replaced and just wanted to understand a little about costs before I have an electrician visit to do an inspection tomorrow. Also I have to pay for the site inspection, so did not know about this and do not to keep paying for inspections just to get a quote as to what the costs are going to be.

I live in a listed “shed ” with little or know insulation .My heating is via an electric boiler so there is a wet system as such in place . can i have a sort of quote to have an air source heat pump installed ???
